Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Join Pokémon HOME Soon

Great news for fans of the Kanto region. The Pokémon Company confirmed that Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will finally gain compatibility with Pokémon HOME starting October 7, 2026. This long awaited update allows players to move their favorite partners from these classic GBA titles into the modern storage service.

To prepare for this integration, Pokémon HOME will undergo scheduled maintenance on October 7. The service will be unavailable starting at 9:00 AM while the team prepares the systems. Once the process finishes, the app will move to Version 4.1.0 on both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
