Nintendo Targets 2027 for Pokémon Winds and Waves Switch 2 Debut

Nintendo is looking toward a massive 2027 as the company prepares for the launch of the next generation of Pokémon games. During a recent financial results meeting, president Shuntaro Furukawa officially highlighted Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves as vital releases for the Switch 2 console.

These titles will mark the beginning of Generation 10. By the time they arrive in 2027, the Switch 2 will be entering its third year on the market. Furukawa noted that while The Pokémon Company handles the specific development and sales strategies for the franchise, these games are expected to play a major role in the success of the console.

Fans are already excited to see how these new entries will perform on the updated hardware. While Nintendo is keeping exact sales goals private for now, the company remains focused on giving these games the support they need to reach as many players as possible.
