The Elder Scrolls VI Finally Gets an Official Title

After waiting eight years since the initial teaser, fans finally have a real title for the upcoming fantasy epic. Bethesda announced that the next game is officially called The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. The studio shared a brand new logo and a short teaser trailer to celebrate their fortieth anniversary, giving us our first major update in a very long time.

The teaser includes a cryptic quote from a Moth Priest mentioning High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell and the sands of time. This confirms that the upcoming adventure takes place in Hammerfell, letting players explore the native land of the Redguards. Sentinel is one of the most prominent cities in the region, bringing fresh excitement for fans who want to see more of this unique area in Tamriel.

While there is no release date or production window yet, The Elder Scrolls Online is celebrating the news with a special free event. Players can jump into the Alik R Desert during a limited time campaign to earn rewards. We will keep waiting for more updates, but knowing the actual title makes the journey ahead feel much closer.
