Spider Man Faces Pure Terror in Infernal Hulk vs Spider Man

The latest one shot from Marvel Comics pits Spider Man against a truly terrifying threat. In this story, the Fantastic Four and the Avengers have already fallen to a demonic version of the Hulk. Now, Peter Parker must step up to protect a young girl from this monster. The tension starts from the very first page as the story builds dread before the inevitable clash begins.

The comic excels by balancing a massive threat with a small, personal mission. While the Infernal Hulk is powerful enough to destroy anything in his path, Spider Man focuses entirely on keeping the child safe. It showcases exactly why Peter Parker is one of the best heroes around, as he faces down a nightmare while still trying to keep a sense of hope alive for his charge.

Javier Pina delivers incredible artwork that highlights the contrast between the clean, heroic look of Spider Man and the messy, dark presence of the Hulk. The colors and lettering work together to create a gloomy, oppressive atmosphere that makes the Hulk feel like an invading force from another dimension. This issue is a harrowing look at a hero pushed to his absolute limit, and it is available at comic shops now.
