Pokémon Bank Service Is Officially Ending In 2027

The Pokémon Company recently announced that the Pokémon Bank service will officially shut down. You have until February 25, 2027, to move your Pokémon over to Pokémon Home. After this date, the ability to transfer creatures from the older service will no longer be available.

This marks the end of an era for long time trainers who have kept their teams stored in the cloud for years. If you still have Pokémon sitting in Bank, it is a great time to organize them and migrate your favorites to your newer games.

While there is still plenty of time before the deadline, it is best not to wait until the last minute. Make sure your Nintendo 3DS is updated and your Pokémon Home account is ready to receive your collection before the services go dark.
