Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake File Size Revealed

Fans are getting ready for the return of a classic. Recent listings from Nintendo have confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake will take up 27 GB of storage space on the Nintendo Switch 2. This file size officially makes it larger than both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom on the console.

This high storage requirement suggests that the team is putting a lot of work into technical upgrades. Players can expect a much more detailed visual experience compared to the original 1998 title. It is clear that this remake is going to be a significant release for the platform.

Mark your calendars for November 5, 2026. That is when we finally get to return to Hyrule and see how these iconic locations look with modern graphics. We will keep you updated as more details come out before the launch.
