Dead by Daylight Chorus of Sin Arrives on Public Test Build

The long awaited Dead by Daylight chapter Chorus of Sin is officially live on the Steam Public Test Build. This special update is unique because it was crafted entirely based on feedback and choices from the player community. It serves as a starting point for the next decade of content for the game.

Players can now step into the shoes of the new killer, The Judgement, an otherworldly force capable of sending survivors into Exile. This terrifying new threat also comes with three unique perks called Celestial Witness, Hex: Under Your Thumb, and Lay Waste, all designed to make locating and slowing down survivors much easier.

On the survivor side, we have Aurora Stardotter. She is a spiritual scientist and the first older female survivor added to the game. Her perks, Fruits of Your Labor, Salvation's Cry, and Boon Steadfast, offer strategic support for teams trying to repair generators and survive the trial.

If you want to try these new characters early, you can access the Public Test Build on Steam right now. For everyone else, the official full release for the Chorus of Sin chapter is scheduled for August 25, 2026.
