Dead by Daylight Brings NieR:Automata Characters to the Fog

Dead by Daylight is bringing the iconic world of NieR:Automata to its horror landscape. Starting October 6, 2026, players can get their hands on new outfits inspired by the hit action game. The update features 2B and A2 as Legendary Outfits for Feng Min and Yui Kimura. If you prefer playing as the Killer, you can now equip a special look for The Legion based on the memorable character Emil.

Creative Director Dave Richard noted that the collaboration feels natural given the shared themes of cycles of violence and suffering found in both games. The team wanted to honor the impact NieR:Automata has left on its fans by bringing these characters into the Entity's grasp. It is a perfect addition for those who enjoy the dark, atmospheric tone of both series.

This release is just the start of a busy October for Dead by Daylight fans. The team is also preparing for the Diablo Collection arriving on October 20, which will feature six new outfits and even some custom voice lines. Additionally, the Haunted by Daylight event kicks off on October 13 with new map mechanics like Void Rifts to change up your gameplay strategy.
