Vincent D'Onofrio Backs Deborah Ann Woll Over God of War Backlash

The upcoming God of War Laufey is dealing with a wave of criticism following its recent reveal. Much of the online chatter focuses on the decision to center the story around Faye and her character design. Since the announcement, actor Deborah Ann Woll has faced unfair comments regarding her performance capture role as the lead.

Vincent D'Onofrio decided to address the negativity directly. He publicly defended Woll, who he previously worked with on the Daredevil series. By responding to a critical post on social media, D'Onofrio stood by his long time colleague as she faces harsh treatment from some members of the community.

This support comes at a tense time for the project as anticipation for the PlayStation 5 release continues to grow. While opinions on the creative direction of the series vary, many fans are pleased to see such a strong show of professional loyalty. We will keep an eye on any further updates as the game approaches its release date.
