The First Descendant Takes Serious Action Against Cheating Players

The team behind The First Descendant recently released an update on their ongoing efforts to keep the game fair. Between August 14 and August 20, they took disciplinary action against 239 accounts. This is part of a larger plan to stop cheating and unfair gameplay that ruins the experience for others.

Out of the accounts caught, six players received permanent bans for their actions. Another 233 players were hit with matchmaking penalties, which prevents them from joining games with others for a set time. These steps are meant to keep the community environment healthy for everyone.

Nexon confirmed that they are still monitoring the game for any signs of exploitation or disruptive behavior. They encouraged the community to keep reporting suspicious activity as they continue their sweep against rule breakers.
