The Crow Club Episode 3 Has Highs and Lows

Episode 3 of The Crow Club continues to focus heavily on the growing attraction between Vann and his client, Rakkhun. While the series established a strict rule that romance with a client is off limits, the tension between the two is becoming impossible to ignore. We finally get some concrete answers regarding the ghost haunting Rakkhun, a spirit named Garlah who claims to be acting as a protector. This adds an interesting layer of supernatural mystery to the romance, especially with the introduction of a potential love triangle involving Kan.

Despite these developments, the episode struggles with major pacing issues. Some moments move along quickly, while other scenes stall, creating a jarring experience for the viewer. The show also seems to be sidelining the other couples in the series, giving them only brief scenes that feel like an afterthought. With sixteen episodes in the season, there is plenty of time for these characters, but the current focus leaves the rest of the cast feeling forgotten.

Character consistency is another weak point this week. Vann, who was a complete skeptic in the premiere, acts strangely indifferent toward the supernatural despite having direct encounters with a ghost. It makes his continued disbelief in things like tarot cards feel forced rather than earned. When you add in some awkward directing choices during romantic scenes, the episode misses the mark in several areas.

Ultimately, the actors have great chemistry, which makes the show enjoyable even when the script stumbles. The core mystery is intriguing, and the stakes for Vann are becoming clear. If the series can find a better balance between its various storylines and smooth out its erratic pacing, it still has the potential to be a standout show.
