The Assassin(s) Pulls Out of Busan International Film Festival

The upcoming 31st Busan International Film Festival will no longer host the team behind The Assassin(s). Hive Media Corp, the production company for the historical thriller, announced on October 2 that the film will skip both the opening ceremony and all other festival events.

This decision follows ongoing public controversy surrounding the project. Growing concerns regarding the pressure placed on the cast and the production crew prompted the studio to step back from their festival commitments to avoid further complications.

Fans who were looking forward to seeing the project featured at the festival will have to wait for further updates from the studio. For now, the production team remains focused on managing the situation as they figure out the next steps for the film.
