Star Wars: Galactic Racer Is The High Speed Thrill We Needed

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is finally here, and it is exactly the kind of racing game fans have been waiting for. Developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode, the game puts you in the pilot seat as Shade, a racer looking to settle a score with the arrogant Galactic League champion, Kestar Bool. While the story offers a clear goal, the real draw is the fast and aggressive racing that rewards strategy as much as speed.

The game stands out by offering three distinct types of vehicles, including landspeeders, speeder bikes, and skim speeders. Each handles differently, forcing you to experiment with your setup and driving style to find what works best. Whether you are drifting through corners or using kinetic bursts to gain an edge, you have to stay sharp to keep your racer from ending up as a pile of scrap.

Strategy goes beyond the track as well. You have to manage your boost systems, like the overheating Ramjet, and make tough choices during the campaign. Between races, you pick routes that offer different rewards, risks, and parts to upgrade your craft. You also need to keep an eye on environmental hazards, like the sweltering heat of Jakku or the freezing cold of Ando Prime, which directly affect your vehicle performance.

Even if you get wrecked by an opponent, the game pulls you back into the action quickly. It manages to feel like a perfect mix of arcade aggression and thoughtful vehicle management. If you want a title that keeps you thinking about your next lap even when you are away from the screen, this is one to watch.
