Sound! Euphonium Reaches Its Emotional Finale

After eleven years of beautiful music and touching character arcs, Sound! Euphonium is officially wrapping up Kumiko Oumae's journey. Kyoto Animation just shared the final trailer for the second part of the series' concluding film. This video gives fans one last look at the high school band members before their final curtain call.

This release marks the end of a long path that started with the first anime season back in 2015. Over the years, the show became famous for its stunning animation and honest look at friendship and competition. The new movie serves as the ultimate goodbye to the characters who grew so much throughout their time in the Kitauji High School band.

The film arrived in Japanese theaters on September 11, 2026. For fans who have followed the story since the beginning, this marks the end of an era. While it is sad to see Kumiko leave high school, the final project promises to be a memorable tribute to everything the series achieved.
