Solid Snake Voice Actor Says Metal Gear Deserves One More Game

Akio Otsuka, the iconic Japanese voice behind Solid Snake, recently shared his thoughts on the future of the Metal Gear franchise. In a candid interview published this October, the veteran actor suggested that Konami should consider creating one more entry in the series for the fans who have supported these games for decades.

This marks a shift in perspective for Otsuka. He previously stated that he was not interested in working on the series if Hideo Kojima was not involved. While his deep respect for Kojima remains, he now feels that the global community deserves another chapter in the saga, regardless of who leads the development team.

Fans have been waiting for news on the series for a long time. Whether or not Konami listens to the voice of their legendary lead actor remains to be seen. For now, it is an interesting turning point that suggests the door might finally be opening for a new Metal Gear adventure.
