Room of Guilty Pleasure Anime Gets Trailer and Early Release Date

Fans of the original manga by Kentie have plenty to look forward to as the Room of Guilty Pleasure anime adaptation approaches. The series is set to premiere on Japanese television on October 5, but viewers will get an early look at the uncensored version on the streaming service OceanVeil starting September 12. A new trailer recently dropped to build excitement for the project.

The show features a talented cast including Mai Hoshino as Amai Miruku, Makoto Hojo as Chiyoki Remon, Aya Hinata as Kanna Natsuki, and Mamoru Sasaki as Koki Nishiyama. Asahi Tachibana will perform the official theme song titled Ai Mu Guilty. Just like other AnimeFesta productions, fans can expect multiple versions including a standard TV edit and the fully uncensored streaming edition.

Studio Hōkiboshi is handling the production with Saburō Miura acting as both director and scriptwriter. The plot follows an overworked teacher named Mr. Sasaki who discovers a mysterious selection system in the student shoe lockers that leads to a secret, forbidden relationship. With the release just around the corner, this looks like a major moment for fans of the manga.
