Review: Nocturne Episode 3 Deepens the Dark Mystery

Nocturne keeps fans guessing with its third episode, titled Eyes on the Inside. This chapter focuses heavily on setting up the grand mystery rather than giving away immediate answers. Jonah, played by Liev Schreiber, discovers strange markings on trees that form a hidden arrow and circle symbol when viewed from the right angle. This leads him to a missing worker named Sally and connects directly to a terrified boy named Michael who remembers a masked man called The Sandman.

Meanwhile, things get complicated for Saga, played by Zazie Beetz, as she deals with a mix up involving a hidden microphone inside a crucifix necklace. Her undercover mission takes a stressful turn when the plan falls apart, forcing her to try stealing a doctor phone for help. Back at the facility, the captive Jurek continues his creepy behavior, hiding mysterious materials and plotting something dangerous while taking advantage of Karl's kindness.

The episode ends on a chilling note when The Sandman calls the police to demand they call off the search for Sally, proving his threat is real as Sally is shown trapped underground. Fans who love slow burn thrillers will enjoy piecing together these clues, even if the bigger picture remains hidden for now. New episodes of Nocturne stream every Friday on Apple TV.
