Pocketpair Reveals A Massive Graveyard Of Unused Palworld Designs

Palworld has become famous for its huge roster of creatures, but it turns out the team at Pocketpair created far more designs than we ever got to see. During a recent interview, studio head John Buckley shared that there is an internal graveyard filled with hundreds of unused concepts that didn't make the final version of the game.

This insight gives fans a clearer look at the creative process behind the game. While the current roster is quite large, these discarded ideas represent the trial and error that shaped the experience we play today.

Buckley also highlighted that the development speed for these creatures varies greatly. One design, known as Sekhmet, stands out because it went from a rough concept to a fully functional part of the game faster than any other creature in their history.
