Plus Sized Misadventures in Love! Reveals Trailer and New Cast

The upcoming anime adaptation of Plus Sized Misadventures in Love! is officially hitting screens on October 6. Fans just got a great look at what is coming with a brand new trailer and visual that set the tone for this fun story.

Alongside the preview, the production team announced four new cast members. Joining the show are Akari Kito as Saki Tamai, Tomokazu Sugita as Hiroki Maezono, Takuya Eguchi as Yutaka Shigemori, and Eiji Takeuchi as Masahiko Hosoi. We also have details on the music, with GANG PARADE performing the opening song Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy and Yuma Uchida providing the ending track.

The series follows Yumeko, a girl who struggles with her appearance until a sudden accident changes her life completely. With a newfound, hyper positive attitude, she begins to shake up the lives of everyone around her. It is a wild mix of romance, comedy, and even a mystery involving an attempted murder.

Kazuomi Koga is directing the series at the studio Marvy Jack. With the premiere just around the corner, fans do not have long to wait to see how Yumeko tackles her new life and navigates her complicated world.
