Phantom Blade Zero Update Brings Big Performance Gains
The latest patch makes the action game run much smoother on Steam Machines, though the Steam Deck is still having a rough time.
manhwa.newsBig news for Phantom Blade Zero players. A fresh update released on November 4 has significantly improved performance for the action RPG. Players using Steam Machine hardware can now hit nearly 60 FPS while running the game at 2K resolution with Medium graphics settings.
This is a great step forward for those playing on more powerful desktop setups. The game feels much more responsive and fluid during intense combat encounters, which is exactly what fans wanted to see after some initial performance complaints.
It is not all good news though. Valve’s Steam Deck is still finding it difficult to keep up with the game. Testing shows that the handheld device struggles to maintain a steady 30 FPS during crowded scenes or heavy action sequences. We will keep watching to see if future patches can bring that same stability to portable players.
