Nintendo Schedules Major eShop Maintenance for November 2026

Nintendo has officially confirmed two upcoming maintenance windows for the Nintendo eShop. These sessions will impact both current Nintendo Switch owners and users of the new Switch 2 hardware during the first two weeks of November 2026.

The first period of downtime is set for November 2. The shop will be offline for one hour from 3 AM to 4 AM ET, which is 8 AM to 9 AM for fans in the UK.

A second, longer session is planned for the following week. This maintenance will run for two hours, starting on November 9 at 11:30 PM ET and ending on November 10 at 1:30 AM ET. In the UK, this translates to 4:30 AM to 6:30 AM on November 10.

While Nintendo has not shared specific details about what these updates include, these sessions are standard for keeping digital storefronts running smoothly. Make sure to plan your gaming sessions around these times to avoid any issues while browsing or downloading games.
