Netflix Returns to the Island with New Outer Banks Prequel

Fans of the hit Netflix show Outer Banks might be sad that the main story concluded with its fifth season. However, the island of Kildare is not done with us just yet. Netflix is working on a brand new prequel series titled Kildare that takes us back in time.

This upcoming project will focus on events happening two decades before John B and his friends started their famous treasure hunts. Rather than picking up after the series finale, the show plans to look at the history of the island and show us a completely different side of the setting we grew to love.
