Kratos Returns! A New God of War Game Is Officially Happening

Great news for fans of the Spartan warrior. During a panel at San Diego Comic Con 2026, Cory Barlog confirmed that a new God of War game is currently in development. This project will continue the story of Kratos, showing us what happens after the events of God of War Ragnarok and the highly anticipated God of War Laufey.

While details are still being kept under wraps, Barlog hinted that this next entry is designed to build toward something truly special. The creative team seems eager to keep the momentum going as the studio prepares to share more about the series future.
