Johnny Joestar Awakens Tusk in Steel Ball Run Episode 4

The latest episode of Steel Ball Run keeps the tension at an all time high. Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli find themselves cornered by the relentless Boom Boom Family, while Mountain Tim enters the fray with his own suspicions about the duo. The dangerous Stand ability known as Tomb of the Boom forces the group into a desperate fight for survival, pushing them to their limits in the middle of the desert.

This episode provides a great look into Mountain Tim and his Stand, Oh! Lonesome Me. We learn how his past encounter with the cursed Devil's Palm shaped his life, adding interesting depth to his character. The dark humor surrounding the Boom Boom Family makes for some memorable, if slightly gruesome, moments that balance out the intense combat.

The highlight of the episode is undoubtedly the debut of Johnny's Stand, Tusk. After being pushed to the brink, Johnny discovers his ability to spin his fingernails with incredible force. This turning point changes the dynamic between him and Gyro, giving Johnny a real way to defend himself. Watching them defeat their pursuers is a satisfying moment that finally shifts some power back to our protagonists.

Even with the Boom Boom Family gone, the journey remains incredibly dangerous. Gyro's massive bounty continues to attract unwanted attention, making it clear that winning the race is not their only challenge. As Johnny and Gyro continue their ride, fans are left eager to see what other threats wait for them in the unforgiving landscape. You can catch the latest episode streaming now on Netflix.
