Get Ready To Hunt Influencers In Maneater 2

Great news for fans of chaotic shark action. During Sony's recent State of Play event, Tripwire Interactive announced that Maneater 2 is officially in development. The sequel is currently slated for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

This time around, your bull shark is moving from the wild ocean to a place called Neptune's Kingdom. It is a flashy, luxury theme park filled with high end resorts and exclusive events. For the shark, it serves as an all you can eat buffet featuring local marine life and, more importantly, a group of high profile influencers who are visiting for a private party.

Gameplay will stay true to the original, letting you eat, explore, and evolve. You can expect to encounter new genetically modified threats created by the park's bioengineers, while disgraced reality TV host Trip Westhaven returns to provide his unique commentary. Players will need to use their wits and strength to break out of this high tech tourist trap.
