Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Director Wants to Honor the Original

Director Naoki Hamaguchi recently opened up about the immense pressure of finishing the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy. He shared that a major challenge has been balancing the legacy of the original game with the need to offer something fresh. For the team, it was vital to avoid turning this project into a personal fan project that strays too far from the source.

In a recent interview, Hamaguchi stressed that the development team is fully committed to the themes set at the very start of the remake process. Instead of just doing a simple remake or letting their own creative interpretations take over, they are focused on preserving the heart of what made the original story so special.

Fans are eager to see how the trilogy concludes with Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. By staying grounded in the established themes, the team hopes to provide a satisfying finale that respects the classic while pushing the series into a new era of storytelling.
