Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Replaces Yamcha Voice Lines

Fans watching the newest version of Dragon Ball Super will notice a big change in the audio department. Episode 3 of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus features a brand new Japanese voice for Yamcha. Voice actor Ryota Suzuki has taken over the role, replacing Toru Furuya after his recent departure from the character.

This update connects the enhanced 2026 anime project with the recasting choices already seen in Dragon Ball DAIMA. The new version of Dragon Ball Super takes the original television anime and gives it a fresh coat of paint with revised scenes, updated visuals, and completely redesigned sound effects and dialogue.
