Diamond Toons Brings The Ramayana To Life With New Manga Series

Diamond Toons just announced a brand new project called Ramayana Manga Saga. This series adapts the famous Indian epic using Japanese manga art styles, aiming to make these traditional stories feel fresh and exciting for a younger generation. It is part of their broader Diamond Indic Manga initiative that focuses on sharing cultural heritage through modern art.

The collection features three black and white volumes specifically crafted for readers ages 12 and up. If you prefer color, the publisher is also putting out a separate full color version of the series for younger kids. This is a great way to see such a historic story told in a way that feels very modern.

The official announcement arrived on November 2, 2026. This project is a big step for bringing classic stories to readers who love the manga format. Keep an eye out for these volumes as they start hitting shelves, as they offer a unique way to experience one of the greatest epics ever told.
