Dan Houser Skips GTA 6 Reveal to Keep His New Projects Original

Dan Houser, the legendary writer and co founder of Rockstar Games, is making a surprising choice regarding the most anticipated game in history. In a recent chat with the press, Houser admitted that he has stayed away from the extended reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6. He wants to ensure his future work remains entirely his own.

Since leaving the company, Houser has been busy building his new studio, Absurd Ventures. Because he spent so many years defining the tone of series like Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, he worries that watching his former colleagues at work might accidentally bleed into his current creative process. He prefers to keep his distance so he can focus on building something fresh.

This decision highlights how much Houser values originality in his new career phase. Fans who have followed his career for years will be curious to see what he brings to the table without the Rockstar brand attached. For now, it seems he is keeping his eyes on the future rather than looking back at his massive past legacy.
