Originally introduced as [Yato's](https://anilist.co/character/84677/Yato) girlfriend that he frequently shakes down for money, Kofuku is later revealed to be the infamous Binbougami - a Japanese Goddess of Poverty. She goes by the cover name "Kofuku Ebisu" in order to make it seem as though she is a god of fortune. She has a Shinki named [Daikoku](https://anilist.co/character/88691/Daikoku).
