Fans of Chained Soldier will have to wait a little longer for new chapters. The manga is officially on hiatus because the series artist, Yōhei Takemura, needs time to heal from a painful wrist injury. Shueisha announced the news through Shonen Jump+ to keep readers informed about the change in schedule.

Takemura originally suffered damage to the fibrocartilage in their right wrist back in June. The artist was determined to keep the series going and even worked while wearing a brace to manage the pain. Unfortunately, the constant demand of drawing created too much strain on the injury, making it impossible to continue at the current pace.

Right now, there is no set return date for the series. Takemura is prioritizing rest to ensure a full recovery. We wish the artist a speedy healing process and look forward to seeing the story return whenever they are feeling better.
