Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang Lead New Romance Series

Netflix is shaking up the romantic comedy genre with its upcoming series titled Take Charge of My Heart. The show features stars Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang, who are set to bring a fresh dynamic to our screens on October 9, 2026.

The story centers on an unusual premise that is already catching the attention of fans. The female lead possesses an extraordinary ability to control electricity, while the male lead relies on an artificial heart that requires a specific power source. It is an interesting setup that promises to move away from standard romance tropes.

This show matters because it blends high concept fantasy with the emotional beats we love in Korean dramas. Seeing how these two characters manage their connection given their unique limitations will be the highlight of the series.

We are looking forward to seeing how the chemistry between the leads develops as the premiere date approaches. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the fall release.
