Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Finally Gets A Netflix Release Date

Great news for fans of Mizu. The hit animated series Blue Eye Samurai is officially returning to Netflix on January 19, 2027. This second season will consist of six episodes that pick up right where the intense cliffhanger left off.

After her difficult journey so far, Mizu is now setting her sights on England. She is determined to track down the remaining men from her past. Moving from Japan to London in 1657 means she will face an entirely new set of challenges, local prejudices, and dangerous enemies.

Creators Amber Noizumi and Michael Green shared that the London setting is perfect for the story. They described the city at that time as a place with a thriving culture of illicit activity, which should provide plenty of conflict for our lead character. We cannot wait to see how Mizu adapts to this new environment.
