Arknights: Endfield Heads to the Frost in Dreamscape of Wind and Snow

Hypergryph has officially revealed the next major update for Arknights: Endfield titled Dreamscape of Wind and Snow. Launching on September 2, 2026, for PC, mobile, and PlayStation 5, the update shifts the action from lush greenery to a mysterious, icy forest. Players can expect surreal environments and a distinct Nordic influence, including a custom soundtrack created in collaboration with Finnish artist Vilma Jää.

Fans of the original Arknights will be excited to see the return of the nature striker Typhoeus. This six star operator joins the roster with a powerful bow and a unique Nordic accent. Her arrival brings interesting questions about the lore, specifically regarding a mysterious connection to a character named Amma. Alongside her, a new five star physical defender named Purrchena will arrive later in the month. Players can earn Purrchena and his weapon for free by completing a specific event starting September 24.

Beyond new characters, the update introduces an engaging puzzle map based on a 15 minute time loop. Players must collect items to protect the city of Suiming from the Blight Tide, with progress carrying over each time the loop resets. With additional events like Echoes of War and various quality of life improvements arriving throughout September, there is plenty for players to look forward to as the story moves into its next chapter.
