ARC Raiders Confirms PvE Mode Test for October

Big news for everyone waiting on ARC Raiders because Embark Studios just confirmed a brand new gameplay test. From October 13 through October 20, 2026, players can try out a dedicated player versus environment matchmaking toggle. This gives fans a choice between the standard player versus player versus environment format and a purely cooperative experience focused entirely on fighting ARC machines.

This limited test is happening because the development team noticed a large portion of the community prefers scavenging, questing, and exploring without player conflict. Instead of worrying about other human raiders, players can team up to tackle the robotic threats together. It is a major shift for the extraction adventure and gives fans exactly what they have been asking for.
