Apex Legends Teams Up With Street Fighter 6 For Epic Event

Hey friends, get ready for an epic gaming crossover because Apex Legends is teaming up with Street Fighter 6 for a brand new event. Respawn is bringing the legendary World Warriors straight into the Outlands, complete with special gear, fresh modes, and tons of themed goodies. The update drops on Tuesday, September 22, and it brings major changes that fans will not want to miss.

One of the coolest updates is the complete redesign of the Olympus map. It is now fully themed around Street Fighter stages, featuring Luke's Gym, arcade cabinets, destructible cars, and statues honoring the iconic fighters. Plus, the new Wildcard Takeover mode switches the action to a third person view, letting players use Fighter Gear Kits based on characters like Ryu, Chun Li, Akuma, and Dhalsim with fun new abilities.

Players can also earn Zenny to unlock awesome items in the reward shop, including eight special character skins that mash up the Apex cast with Street Fighter legends. Look out for Sparrow as Ryu, Alter as Chun Li, and Mirage as Luke, alongside custom weapon skins and the new Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee cosmetic.
