Age of Wonders 4 Announces Expansion Pass 4 and The Silver Seas

Strategy fans have plenty to look forward to because Paradox Interactive and Triumph Studios have announced Expansion Pass 4 for Age of Wonders 4. This new pass brings a heavy focus on the open ocean, starting with the immediate release of the Singer of Storms pack. Players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S can grab the new pass right now for $49.99.

The first major drop is The Silver Seas DLC, which officially launches on November 3, 2026. This expansion introduces a brand new Mercantile culture, allowing players to build cities on both land and sea while choosing between the secretive Cartel subculture or the wealthy Barony subculture. It also adds two new playable forms, the Aqualon and the Sharkkin, alongside four new tomes, pirate dwellings, and fresh aquatic map events.

Looking further ahead, the roadmap for Expansion Pass 4 includes two more exciting releases. The Court of the Archfey DLC arrives in the first quarter of 2027 with whimsical themes and new story realms, followed by the Forge of the Firstborn DLC in the second quarter of 2027, which focuses on dwarven empires and deep crafting mechanics. Alongside these paid expansions, a free Witch Update is also available now with general improvements and a fun flying broom item for heroes.
