A Lollipop Chainsaw Live Action Movie Is Officially Happening

Fans of the cult classic game Lollipop Chainsaw have a major reason to get excited. A live action film based on the iconic series is currently in the works. This project is being led by producers Kirk Shaw, known for his work on The Hurt Locker, and Robert Franke of Concordia Studio.

While fans have heard rumors about potential anime projects in the past, this live action film is a completely separate production. It aims to capture the wild, over the top energy of the original game where a cheerleader battles zombies with a chainsaw.

We do not have a release date or casting details just yet, but the involvement of such experienced producers is a great sign for the project. We will keep an eye out for updates as this production moves forward.
