WARDOGS Devs Tease PvE and Extraction Mode Prototypes

Fans of tactical shooters have a lot to look forward to with WARDOGS. The development team at BULKHEAD recently shared exciting news about the future of the game. During a chat at Gamescom 2026, studio leaders Mark Pinney and Joe Brammer revealed that they already have playable prototypes for both PvE missions and an extraction style mode.

While the core focus right now remains on the upcoming Steam Early Access launch and large scale multiplayer matches, these extra ideas show the long term vision for the title. BULKHEAD wants to expand the gameplay far beyond standard multiplayer action once the game finds its footing with players.

Having playable prototypes means these features are well past the basic brainstorming stage. We will have to wait and see how the community responds to the early access release before the team commits to bringing these new modes to the final game.
