Nexon is bringing the tactical shooter Sudden Attack Zero Point to Steam later this year. This free to play title serves as a remaster of the original game that first launched in South Korea back in 2005. The team is aiming to combine the fast pace and classic bomb defusal missions that fans love with modern visual upgrades and new features.

Director Kim Tae hyun explains that the biggest challenge was finding the right balance between keeping the original feel and meeting the standards of modern FPS players. To achieve this, the team updated the graphics while keeping the classic map structures and engagement rhythms. They also added a new weapon customization system and a player economy called the Black Market to provide more depth for current gamers.

The development team focused on keeping the game easy to pick up while maintaining a high skill ceiling for competitive play. Newcomers should find the fast tempo and intuitive controls accessible, while veteran players can enjoy the tactical improvements. The goal is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable jumping into the action regardless of their history with the franchise.
