The story follows a young woman who decides she has had enough of being treated poorly. Tired of the abuse and neglect, she hatches a plan to steal the life of the person the Prince favors most. She believes that living as the Prince's favorite will solve all of her problems and lead to a much happier life.

However, things do not go exactly as planned. Once she starts her scheme, she realizes that the life she envied comes with its own set of dangerous secrets and heavy burdens. The series does a great job of showing that the grass is not always greener on the other side, especially when the other side puts both of them in mortal danger.

With ten volumes available, there is plenty of content to enjoy if you love complex character dynamics and high stakes drama. The plot twists keep you guessing as the protagonist deals with the fallout of her decisions. If you enjoy stories where villains get a chance to change their paths, this one is definitely worth your time.
