The wait for Planet Zoo 2 is getting easier as Frontier Developments shares the first episode of its new Animal Spotlight series. This video series highlights specific animals and the complex, realistic behaviors they will exhibit in the game. The first star of the show is the African Leopard, a master climber that requires players to build clever vertical habitats to keep them happy and active.

Building on the foundation of the original game, this sequel introduces major new features like customizable aquariums and aviaries. Players can look forward to seeing animals interact with their surroundings in fresh ways, thanks to updated animations for fur, feathers, and scales. Beyond the zoo walls, the game also emphasizes conservation through new Wildlife Reserve missions where you can return animals to their natural homes.
