Palworld Creator Open To Switch 2 Port Despite Nintendo Lawsuit

Fans of creature collection games might see Palworld on Nintendo hardware in the future. Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe recently shared that his team would love to bring the hit survival game to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console. During a recent interview, he praised the platform and its big role in the Japanese gaming market.

While the idea sounds exciting for players who prefer Nintendo consoles, a major hurdle remains. Pocketpair and Nintendo are currently locked in an ongoing patent lawsuit. Mizobe explained that these legal battles complicate any immediate business talks, meaning fans will likely have to wait until the court situation gets resolved.

Palworld is already available on other platforms, where it built a massive player base. Bringing the game to the next Nintendo console would open it up to even more fans. For now, the development team is focusing on their current releases while keeping an eye on future hardware opportunities.
