We were excited to check out the new Kill Blue anime adaptation, but the result left us feeling pretty underwhelmed. While the premise had a lot of potential for high energy action, the actual show struggles to keep that momentum going after the first few episodes.

The biggest issue is the visual quality. The art often feels blurry and smudged, which really hurts the impact of the fight scenes. Instead of feeling smooth and exciting, the action feels clunky and hard to follow.

The story also hits a wall during the middle school segments. What should have been fun character moments end up feeling stretched out and repetitive. These scenes drag on far too long without adding anything meaningful to the plot or the development of the characters.

Ultimately, the show misses the mark. It fails to capture the spark that fans might be looking for, leaving us hoping for better things in future projects from this team.
