KAF Talks About Her First Anime Role in KAMITSUBAKI CITY

The virtual artist KAF is celebrating the global release of the anime KAMITSUBAKI CITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION on Crunchyroll. Reflecting on her first voice acting role, KAF shared that bringing the story to life was a significant undertaking for both her and the studio. She admitted that finding the right way to express joy as a character was a challenge at first, but she eventually found her groove by imagining how her character would think and feel in the moment.

Working in a group recording setting was a new experience for KAF, who is used to the more solitary process of music production. She found the team dynamic rewarding and enjoyed the pressure of recording scenes together. Outside of the show, she remains busy with music, including her recent fourth remix album and a special collaboration track with CHiCO titled Break Out. KAF noted that working with CHiCO was a dream come true, as she has been a fan since her elementary school days.

Looking ahead, KAF is excited to participate in the upcoming KAMITSUBAKI FES 2025 with her labelmates. She also shared a goal of performing at an outdoor live event, as she would love to sing under the open sky regardless of the weather. Fans can currently catch her work in the ongoing anime series as she continues to push boundaries in both the virtual and music worlds.
