KADOKAWA Bringing Manga Portfolio Reviews to Manga Barcelona 2026
Aspiring creators will soon have the chance to get direct feedback from professional Japanese manga editors.
manhwa.newsKADOKAWA Corporation is bringing its special portfolio review workshop to Manga Barcelona 2026. This exciting event gives upcoming artists a rare chance to show their original manga projects to real professionals. Editors from the KADOKAWA World Manga Editorial Team will be on site to review art, share advice, and answer questions for creators hoping to break into the industry.
The event runs from December 5 to December 8, 2026, at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain. It forms a big part of the publisher's ongoing mission to find and support new manga talent outside of Japan. For many international creators, this is a major milestone because getting direct eyes from Tokyo editors on your work is usually very difficult.
If you plan to attend Manga Barcelona next year, now is the time to start polishing your storyboards and art portfolios. Keep an eye out for more details on how to sign up for a review session closer to the event dates.
