How to Start Your Own Anime Figure Collection

Starting an anime figure collection is a fun way to show your love for series like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, or Demon Slayer. With so many characters and designs out there, picking your first piece is the most important step. However, it is helpful to understand the difference between the various types of figures before you spend your hard earned money.

Collectors usually choose between prize figures, which are affordable and accessible, or premium scale figures that feature much higher detail. You might also find poseable action figures that let you change how your character looks on your shelf. Prices vary wildly, ranging from twenty dollars to several hundred dollars for high end statues.

Knowing the difference between authentic items and fakes is also key for any new collector. We recommend looking closely at the box quality and checking seller reviews before making a purchase. Taking your time to learn about these categories will help you fill your shelves with figures you truly enjoy.
