During a chat at the Tokyo Game Show 2026, he confirmed that players will receive important weapon adjustments and brand new combat actions for free.

Many fans worried these upgrades might be locked behind the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance expansion. Fortunately, these improvements will arrive via a free update for everyone when the expansion launches in 2027.
