DC Cancels Plans for Booster Gold TV Series
Bad news for fans of the time traveling hero as the planned DC series is officially off the table.
DC Studios has officially canceled the long awaited Booster Gold television series. Writer and showrunner David Jenkins confirmed the news recently, putting an end to the project that had many fans excited to see the character get his own live action spotlight.
The show was meant to introduce the fan favorite hero to the wider DC universe on screen. Since Booster Gold is known for his humor and unique take on the superhero lifestyle, many viewers were hoping for a fresh and fun addition to the DC lineup.
While this is a disappointing turn of events, it is common for studios to shift focus as they reorganize their production slates. There is no word yet on if DC has other plans for the character in the future, but for now, the series is not moving forward.
