Black Desert Online Reveals New Gunslinger Class Agent

During the Heidel Ball in Southern California, Pearl Abyss announced the arrival of the newest class for Black Desert Online, Agent. This character, known as Edward Henry Canary, is a gunslinger with a background in counterintelligence. He shares a history with the class Deadeye and brings a refined, professional style to the game. While Deadeye relies on outlaw tactics, Agent acts as a spy who focuses on strategic, high damage attacks.

Agent uses a revolver as his main weapon, supported by grenades and a device called a Hexround. His combat style blends melee and ranged techniques, emphasizing heavy hits over rapid firing. His signature skills include a teleportation ability called Blink, which allows for quick repositioning, and the Mozambique Drill, a three shot combo designed to finish off opponents. Players will be able to master his toolkit when he arrives in the global version of the game on July 30, 2026, with console players following on August 6.

This release introduces a shift in how new classes will come to the game. Moving forward, Pearl Abyss plans to release only one new class each year to better focus on balance. Each class will follow a two part path, with the Succession spec launching in the summer and the Awakening spec following in the winter. This updated approach aims to keep the experience polished for the community as the game continues to grow.
